The construction is our strength, apart from the solid oak tiller stock and rudder our construction is wood free, This eliminates wood rot. We don’t just paint boot tops, we construct boot tops into the finished gelcoat (in any colour you want ) subject to pre order. Layout options available .

With our Vetus inboard diesel powered units we offer fantastic efficiency with great thrust for coastal boating. Whilst most similar vessels stop short of the estuary mouth, the 585 EL pushes on to open water.

The displacement allows the Aquasea 585 to push into a rough sea state with ease. We have kept the traditional steering position from the stern allowing the most comfortable and controlling point of the boat.

We hand craft a hard oak tiller (other wood options available )which is designed for extreme and subtle adjustments of movement on your Aquasea.

The 16 HP M2.18 Marine Diesel Engine is crafted for elegance and designed for performance. Developed entirely in-house, our engine is compact, fuel-efficient and powerful. Consequently, our marine diesel engine rivals the best in the market. Over the years, innovations and additions have led to major improvements. Due to its water cooled top cover a lot of radiant heat from the engine is absorbed and dispelled without affecting the engine room. This absorption results in the room temperature staying lower by 15-20°C (reduction of 20%!) when compared to other engines of similar sizes.

Additionally to reduce the noise created by the running engine a casted aluminum top cover was implanted onto the body directly, along with a state of the art air filter, that reduces the engine noise by 5dB(A). When operating at speeds roughly around 2200 RPM the engine runs “nearsilent” ensuring a more pleasant boating experience for you and your crew. It is also worth mentioning that the cover is designed as a step, which makes it easier to move around the engine.

Our 16 HP M2.18 Marine Diesel Engine is equipped with a high output marine alternator as standard. As a result, the batteries recharge very fast.The M-Line engines are also approved to run on Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO). This lower-carbon fuel is a more sustainable alternative to diesel and contains low sulfur and aromatics. The use of renewable fuels substantially decreases exhaust emissions by up to 90% in CO2, CO, HC, NOx, and PM.This engine also has a Saildrive compatible version.
